Putting Ransome on the Map

Model Students

Our Model Students project is developing Ransome-themed materials for use in both schools and more informal settings. Its title is inspired by the fate that befalls the Swallows and Amazons in Missee Lee, the tenth novel in the Swallows and Amazons series.

What’s happening in Model Students and how can I help?

  • We are currently exploring options for a teaching pack based on Swallows and Amazons.
  • We’ll announce details when available via the News section and our Facebook and Twitter links.
  • If you feel you’d like to help fund Model Students, see the Get Involved section of the site.
  • If you’d like to offer skills, experience or suggestions, then please get in touch.

“We always eat Oxford marmalade at Camblidge,” she said. “Better scholars, better plofessors at Camblidge, but better marmalade at Oxford.”

Anybody could see that Miss Lee was enjoying herself.
